The second studio visited that day belongs to the sculptor Pérez Rojas. Pérez also attended the Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Sevilla, as he always had the artistic vocation of creating Sacred Art. Later he was a disciple of Juan Manuel Miñarro, acquiring, in his studio, the arts of sculpture and restoration. He also graduated in Fine Arts, specializing in Sculpture. Since 2009 until now, he has had his studio in Seville, where, together with his wife, he produces works of Sacred Art to the whole world.
Both visits proved to be very exciting! It was an excellent presentation to introduce us to this adventure within Religious Art.

Following the Press Conference and the Work Meeting, we visited the studios of two Religious Art artisans in Seville.
The first studio we visited belongs to the famous sculptor José Maria Leal Bernáldez. José Maria entered the world of Sacred Art at a very young age. He began his teachings in the studio of Francisco Vergara de Ávila, benefiting from disciplined, conscious and appropriate learning that quickly led him to have adequate conceptual bases to dedicate himself professionally and fully to the difficult task of being a good sculptor of Sacred Art. After 8 years in this studio, he went to the Facultad de Bellas Artes de la Universidad de Sevilla, where he obtained a very complete academic training. Today he works in his private studio in Seville together with his wife.

Following the Press Conference, the 1st Working Meeting took place in Sevilha, where details of the project were presented, attended by members of the Fraternity of Santiago de España, the Diocesan Missionary Center Lucca (Italy) and the Association Grão Vasco (Portugal).
Soon, you will find out more details about this new project!

Last July 2023, the new e-Arpa project was presented to the press in Seville. Members of the Fraternity of Santiago de España, the Lucca Diocesan Missionary Center (Italy) and the Grão Vasco Association (Portugal) were present. The mission of this project is to multiply the value of Religious Art artisans, helping them to adapt to the demands of current markets and new demand criteria.
